From the land of snow capped mountains and big sky, this is mined in Lander County, NV. Considered a chalcosiderite many interchangeably call this a variscite though the former is technically correct. With super tight webbing, we don't see much of this these days. Occasionally we run across a parcel of good material that will cut a few cabs. This is one of those stones you will want to keep for yourself.
