This porcelain Jasper is a new find from the Utah foothills! Discovered in 2020 this gemstone is difficult to mine but oh so worth it. Reminiscent of Tiffany Stone, this Jasper is easily recognized by it's soft lilacs, pinks and purples. Mined by McKay Anderson and family by hand, we are so lucky to have gotten our hands on some this year. According to McKay, unless he can get a special bond approval from the BLM they have dug as far as possible under their current permit. Rough material has conchoidal fractures and is in the opalite family.
