Prized for the dense, fern-like inclusions of green that drift through a clear to smoky-gray chalcedony base. The "moss" itself ranges from deep forest green to a lighter sage, spreading in wispy, organic patterns that genuinely resemble moss or lichen caught beneath glass. Some areas of the stone stay nearly transparent, letting light pass through and giving real depth to the inclusions, while others carry a soft milky haze. A high polish keeps the surface glassy and lets the clarity do the work, making each piece feel like its own tiny landscape frozen in stone.
