A rare opalized fluorite from the Spor Mountain area of Utah, known for its deep, dreamy palette of purple and lavender swirling against soft cream and pale pink. Fine dark veining, largely manganese oxide, threads through the lighter zones in delicate, branching lines, while some pieces carry a subtle chatoyancy that catches the light as it moves. The purple can run anywhere from a soft dusty mauve to a rich, saturated violet within the same piece, giving each one its own personality. A glassy, high polish brings out the full depth of color and lets the banding read clearly.
