A rare faustite from a small parcel sourced by Steve Harper back in the 1990s, making this material both decades old and genuinely limited — once this parcel is gone, it's gone. The body color runs a soft, pale palette of mint and sage green, threaded with fine black veining that traces across the surface in thin, lightning-bolt fractures rather than heavy webbing. Small pockets of warm gold and coppery matrix appear here and there where the veining thickens, adding a quiet contrast against the cooler green tones. A high polish keeps the surface glassy and lets the delicate cracking read clearly against the pale background. As a rare cousin to turquoise, faustite carries that same family character with a distinct, softer color of its own.
